Wouldn't you like to see more things to do in waikanae and paraparaumu like an indoor trampoline park or an indoor skatepark or an indoor sports centre i definitely would. porirua has pretty much all of those things. paraparaumu has well enough land to at least build two of those. If we did then the owners would make a lot of money because a lot of people from waikanae and paraparaumu are going all the way into porirua and wellington just to do those things.
Porirua population is around 54,00o where our population is about 48,000 that actually not that much. all the facilities that porirua has compared to waikanae and paraparaumu is a bit unfair. People from kapiti are going all the way to wellington just to go to these indoor trampoline parks.
The council has land that he could use for an indoor trampoline park because all the land is doing right now is overgrowing with grass where he could be investing money to build one of these. If they did build one of these it may help the unfit kids out there to get fit so they can live a healthier life what I mean is that some kids out there they don’t want to sit in a car for 1 hour or 2 just to have an hour at a trampoline park.
SO in conclusion, having more of these facilities in kapiti would get a lot of kids off their backsides and get them into a healthier state.. It would give us kids a lot more things to do other than sit in our room playing games all day.
